Leading Employer 2026: DT in the top 1% worldwide and #1 in Germany

Deutsche Telekom has been ranked No. 1 in Germany in the Leading Employer Seal 2026. Last year, the company was positioned at No. 33. Reaching the top position within one year is a strong signal that Deutsche Telekom is recognized as an attractive employer in Germany, and that our culture, leadership, and ways of working are resonating externally.

What the Leading Employer Seal represents

The Leading Employer Seal is an independent external recognition that benchmarks employers through a structured comparative assessment and reflects the results in a ranking. It is relevant because it provides an objective point of reference alongside our internal perspective. In a highly competitive talent market, it offers valuable guidance and helps evidence that key elements of our employer value proposition are not only articulated internally but are also clearly perceived and acknowledged externally.

Why rankings do not happen overnight

Being ranked No. 1 is not the outcome of a single initiative or a short-term campaign. It reflects the consistency of the overall employee experience. Top positions typically emerge where culture is tangible; leadership creates clarity and reliability, and collaboration enables performance while strengthening a sense of belonging. It also requires the ability to manage change professionally while maintaining stability in day-to-day operations. The No. 1 ranking in Germany is therefore a strong indication that these fundamentals are coming together in a convincing way.

Recognition for the people behind the result

Above all, this ranking is recognition for the people who bring Deutsche Telekom to life every day. It reflects the commitment, professionalism, and responsibility demonstrated across teams, functions, and locations. It acknowledges colleagues who deliver for customers, keep critical operations running, drive transformation, develop talent, strengthen inclusion, and build trust through consistent collaboration. It also recognizes leaders who provide orientation, empower their teams, and enable development. This is a shared achievement, and it belongs to all of us.

A milestone and a commitment

At the same time, a No. 1 position is also a commitment. It sets a high benchmark and reinforces our ambition to sustain what works and to keep improving what matters most for employee and candidate experience. In employer perception, the most decisive factors are often the points where expectations are shaped and experiences become real: transparent and understandable communication, consistent and reliable processes across the candidate and employee journey, and visible development pathways that make opportunities easier to navigate. Focusing on these levers helps strengthen long term consistency between what people experience internally and what is perceived externally.

We can be proud of this milestone. And we can take it as motivation to continue building on our strengths, with humility and determination, together. No. 1 in Germany in the Leading Employer Seal 2026 is more than a ranking position. It is recognition of our collective daily contribution and a clear encouragement to keep shaping Deutsche Telekom as a workplace where people can belong, grow, and succeed.
