Telekom sets 60-hour world record I Telekom Careers Blog

60 hours live – and now officially a world record holder

Telekom did it: our 60-hour livestream has been confirmed as the longest worldwide marketing TikTok livestream broadcast ever. For three full days, teams from across the globe embodied the very spirit with which we now enter the pre-holiday season — community, connection, and genuine togetherness. A total of 130 employees took part, showcasing how vibrant, diverse, and human our corporate culture is — and that authenticity has now been rewarded with a world record.

From November 5th to 7th we transformed Deutsche Telekoms  headquater in Bonn into an interactive streaming studio to give our colleagues, their stories and their business impact a stage.

What made this livestream special wasn’t a single highlight but the unique energy created by spontaneity and openness. Colleagues across continents joined in, launched their own ideas, and brought our employer value proposition "Create Connections that matter" to life. Late-night office sessions, creative challenges, honest conversations — the stream offered an authentic look into how vibrant and human our workplace truly is.

The response on LinkedIn was overwhelmingly positive. Telekom AI Executive Tatjana Wittig summed it up: “We didn’t just break a record. We created a moment that feels real.” Senior Strategy Consultant Jasmin Pfeiffer added: “It was a unique chance to show what happens behind the scenes — in the most authentic way possible.” Many highlighted how bold it is for a company of our size to go live, uncut and unfiltered, and how inspiring the outcome turned out to be.

This world record is more than a number. It proves how powerful employer branding can be when it becomes an experience rather than a message. The stream reached people worldwide, sparked meaningful interactions and generated more than 600,000 likes

And now? We’re keeping the momentum going. Photos, videos and social-media assets are available internally so teams can share their highlights and amplify the message: We are a strong, diverse and open community.
