About the position

As Senior Sales Expert (m/f/d) Digital Public - Education, you will be responsible for selling innovative IT solutions, especially in the education sector. They focus on educational institutions such as universities, schools, research institutions and public education administrations at federal, state and local levels. You will be part of an efficient, dedicated Digital Sales Public team. As an expert in public administration, you use your current, verifiable and reliable contacts and continuously establish trustworthy new contacts at C-level to identify customer needs and identify complex solutions.

Your tasks

Identification and development of customer needs in educational institutions, creation of complex IT concepts (e.g. for digital learning platforms, cloud-based learning management systems such as Moodle, sovereign data management and open source solutions
Deal ownership from lead generation to contract conclusion, including processing of tenders in the education sector and new entrepreneurial business for digital sovereignty
development and maintenance of C-level networks in educational organizations,
Presentation of solutions on topics such as end-to-end solutions for the education sector, solutions for knowledge transfer/maintenance based on AI, open source standards in the education sector
Single point of contact for collaboration within the Group on the topic of digital education

your profile

More than 5 years of experience in solutions sales or consulting in the public sector with a focus on education
Knowledge of learning management systems such as Moodle, data sovereignty, and open-source technologies
Strong C-level networks in educational institutions
Profound expertise in cloud solutions and system integration
Profound expertise in procurement processes and regulatory requirements such as GDPR for sensitive educational data
Very good written and spoken German and English skills, analytical thinking, teamwork and entrepreneurial orientation
Your willingness to learn, your serious and self-confident appearance as well as your ability to communicate and work in a team round off your profile.
